This excellent analysis
feature gives you the current and projected cash position of your company in
seconds. It analyses your current position, taking into account current bank
balances and credit limits. You can then project, for any date you like,
customer payments due, supplier payments due, standing orders and direct debits,
VAT liability etc. to give you a current or projected cash position of you
business.
A Quick P&L and Balance Sheet facility is also part of this feature that lets you view instantly your accumulated financial figures for any period you choose. You can also analyse periods in a spreadsheet-style format for comparisons.

Document Designer
The Document Designer enables you to
design as many different layouts for your invoices, customer statements,
purchase orders and supplier remittance advice notes as required. The system
maintains them under their relevant sections so they are easily selected when
you come to produce the documents.
Using the same layout design tool as the Reports Designer the system uses a banded layout format. You can choose the colours and fonts of the text, include lines and boxes and also place pictures such as your company logo onto the document.

Reports Designer
Using the same layout design tool as the
Document Designer it presents you with the power to produce any type of report
you want. Using Query-By-Example templates from any data table in Businessware
it gives full and unlimited access to the data held by the system. You can also
use it as a quick enquiry and a data export tool.
The Reports Designer is a very powerful reporting tool included as standard in Businessware. Our developers used the same tool to design all the standard reports in Businessware giving you some idea of the power this facility offers to our users.
Email
The Email facilities in Businessware enable you to
email reports and documents in the system very easily by using a
freely-distributable reports viewer. The system automatically attaches the
report or document file along with the reports viewer to the email. The
recipient of the message can then use the report viewer to view and print the
document. A simple contact address book enables you to maintain a list of
commonly used email contacts to select from whenever sending emails.
